Photography

Taking pictures of my surroundings is another way for me to explore and express my curiosity. When I shift from moving through the city as a cyclist to taking a walk, I become a more keen observer. What draws me in are the lines and shadows of architecture cutting through and playing with each other to create perspective, and popping colors.

I live in Rotterdam, a city that contrasts the new with the old and the raw edges of former industrial sites. It’s a lot of fun to capture these buildings and the details on them, like graffiti.
